SHOP DOG

Well hello there! I’m Lard! A sixteen pound ball of white fluff! I am a 10 year old Shih Tzu + have spent my entire life hanging out with my mom + being a good boy. Recently, I was promoted to “shop dog” - a fancy term that just means I get to come to work with my mom + meet lots of beautiful Kansas City brides + their families. I like to bask in the sun at the front of the boutique + run to greet my new friends as they enter the shop - I am told I give the best “hello’s”!

I bet you’re wondering why my name is Lard, aren’t you? Well, I was the chubby guy in my litter. My weight has balanced itself out over the years, but my love of doing nothing + eating all of the things has never changed! I am who I am!

Favorite ice-cream flavor: Vanilla - My mom doesn’t let me have chocolate, but I bet I would love that too!

Describe your everyday style: I’m a simple guy - usually I opt for a collar but on special occasions, I put on my best sweater or bandana

Nickname(s): Lars, Lardy, Lardo, Poochie, Larders, LBP, Mr. Lard, Snoochie, Shrimp

Guilty pleasure: Pepperoni pizza + sticking my head out the car window! Woohoo!

Favorite flower: Does fluffy green grass count?

Favorite bridal style: I love to lay on long trains. :)

Favorite gown designer: Robert Bullock because he volunteers at pet shelters.

Best piece of advice for brides: Don’t be caught off guard if I’m chilling at the shop during your appointment! I love a good pet.
