REAL BRIDE: Joslyn
Bradley + Joslyn Swick
6.22.19
We are sharing a couple of cuties today! Joslyn + Bradley + their sweetest day is down below! We are gushing over their spring florals, Joslyn’s dream of a Casablanca gown + can we talk about the way these two look at each other? Seriously. It’s unreal how adorable they are.
Join us in congratulating Joslyn + Bradley in the comments below + check out our Instagram, Pinterest + Facebook pages for more coverage of the Swick wedding in the following days + weeks!
Tell us about the proposal!
“Bradley + I started dating on July 9th, 2017! We chose June 22nd, 2019 because it was close to our dating anniversary + it was the best weekend that would work with our families schedules. Brad proposed to me on Labor Day 2018 in front of both of our immediate families at the zoo in the butterfly garden!”
Did you have a specific theme in mind while planning?
“Our colors were steel blue grey + peach with a rustic but still elegant vibe.”
What was your favorite moment from your wedding day?
“My favorite moment was walking down the aisle + seeing Brad tear up. That’s when it really hit me that we were getting married! Brad says his favorite part of the day was seeing me in my dress for the very first time + sharing our first dance as husband + wife together.”
What advice would you give to other brides in regard to dress shopping?
“I’d encourage other brides to keep an open mind. I went into Something White Bridal Boutique thinking I wanted a princess ballgown style dress + ended up leaving with a fitted gown that was perfect for me! Getting out of your comfort zone when finding your dress is totally okay + it was the best thing I ever did during the wedding planning process. Also! Stay positive if you don’t find your perfect dress right away.”
Where did you draw inspiration + ideas from while planning?
“I found all of my ideas on Pinterest of course!”
How did you know your dress was the one?
“I knew I had found the one when I looked in the mirror. I felt beautiful immediately + it just felt like me! I felt like a bride - not like I was wearing a prom dress. The way my friends + family looked at me + glowed made my dress feel different than all the rest.”
Congratulations Joslyn + Bradley!
Wishing you love, laughter + happily ever after!
