REAL BRIDE: Ashley
Michael + Ashley Taylor
4.6.19
Sharing a fun one with you all today! Michael + Ashley are quite possibly the best planners in the history of ever - having a five month long engagement + pulling together a simple + stunning wedding. We are gushing over every detail of this wedding, from the donut wall to Ashley’s Lis Simon gown + all of it’s stunning lace, no detail fell short. Hands down, the best part though? Seeing pure happiness on the faces of these two cuties. It is clear they are meant to be + we are just glad we got to play a tiny role in their big day.
What made you decide to get married on April 6th?
“We decided April was the month we’d get married because it is not too cold + not too hot. Mike's birthday is February 6th + my birthday is October 6th. Therefore, the 6th seemed like the perfect date + our photographer + venue were surprisingly free so we went with it!”
How did the two of you meet?
“Michael + I met at a bar. He was standing next to my friends + we just happened to start talking!”
Tell us about the proposal!
“Michael took me to our favorite park in November! It was so so cold but amazing. We planned our wedding in the five months following!”
Did you have a specific theme in mind while planning?
“I really wanted everything to stay + feel very simple.”
What advice would you give to other brides in regards to dress shopping?
“Try on a lot! Have fun during the process. Wedding dress shopping is one of the best parts of wedding planning! Also, you will definitely know when you have found the dress! You just know + you feel really good about yourself!”
Congratulations to the Taylor’s!
Cheers to many many years of love + laughter like pictured here.
