Okay, I’ll admit it. I got a little out of hand with this one. BUT, if posting the longest blog ever of these two is wrong… I don’t want to be right. Karli + Trent’s big day was nothing shy of a m a z i n g. With jaw-dropping florals via The Cottage Rose, hair + makeup perfection thanks to Posh KC + a gorgeous Casablanca Bridal gown courtesy of yours truly, no detail was missed. Oh, + we can’t forget all of the images below thanks to Monphotography! I mean, we literally wouldn’t be able to share all of this magic with you if it wasn’t for their absolute talent.

How did you know when your found your gown?

“It was exactly what I had always pictured + I definitely felt like a bride!”

How did the two of you meet?

“We went to high school together, but we didn’t start dating until a few years later while we were both in college.”

What was one of your favorite moments of the day?

“I honestly loved everything about the whole entire day! While taking photos, our dog Riggs was able to meet us + be in a few wedding photos with Trent + I. This was pretty special for us because we treat Riggs like a real human!”

Tell us about the proposal!

“We were on a trip in New York City to look at all of the Christmas decorations + Trent proposed in front of the huge Christmas tree in Bryant Park! My brother, sister-in-law + one other couple were there with us to witness it!”

How did you decide on your wedding date?

“We knew we wanted our engagement to be around one year long + it ended up just working best with the availability our vendors had!”

Did you have a specific theme in mind while planning?

“I showed the girls at The Cottage Rose my Pinterest board + they pretty much took it from there!”

What advice would you give to other brides in regard to dress shopping?

“Look at styles before your appointment + have an idea of what you want before your appointment. But don’t be set on just that one style or type of dress because it can change!”
