2018
Oh hey, 2019, nice to see you there! 2018, you were SO good to us. Like, so. I seriously don’t know how//if you’ll ever be topped. For those who are new around here, January of 2018 brought a new owner to Something White Bridal! For those who missed it, it’s because I was already a part of the action of SWBB long before it was “mine” + because we pride ourselves on seamless transitions - haha!
On a sappy note, I cannot believe my first year as a business owner is already over! I would have never believed the growth, learning + improvement that has come to myself + our shop in just a year + I’m giddy about where the future is going to take us!
Thank you to the babes that have visited us + shared their love stories with us, the babes that wear our collections down the aisle + who trust us with the most important article of clothing they’ll ever wear, the vendors who have supported + encouraged us + the designers that keep releasing stunning gowns for our KC girls. You keep us on our toes + you keep our drive to be the best bridal shop alive.

Update [ s ] :
Let’s start with the obvious - we did some s e r i o u s brand renovations. From logos + websites to furniture + paint, we basically did the works [ without really even meaning to. ] First, we got rid of all things purple + created the urban loft of our dreams using grey tones that well, just fit our vibe a little bit more. Then we revamped our logo + slowly added wallpaper + new furniture to really help our new vision come to life! To see sneaks into our shop + branding updates, look no further than below!
Market [ s ] :
This year we attended Chicago + New York bridal markets. Both included pizza + lots of beautiful wedding gowns from our favorite designers. These markets were extra special because I got to bring my sister + SWBB consultant, Carly + share my passion of buying gowns for other people with her!
New Designer [ s ] :
Because who goes to market without picking up new designers for our Kansas City babes? Not us, that’s for sure! We are always on the hunt for fresh designs to add to our collection + this year we were lucky enough to add three amazing designers to the Something White showroom!

Award [ s ] :
The ultimate yaaassssssss! This year Something White was able to snag a few more awards for our squad + we were F I N A L L Y inducted into The Knot Hall of Fame! Not even going to lie here, I cried [ but just a little. ] I was so excited!

Man, if this wasn’t the year of inspiration shoots, I’m unsure of what is. 2018 was packed with collaborations with some of our favorite industry friends + we can’t wait to do it all again in 2019!
